    Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH)
     is provided by the military to help active service members with housing costs, and can be used for either on- or off-base housing.

    The Housing Management Office (HMO) will be your first point of contact when you receive moving orders, and provides services that will help you with referrals, relocation assistance, guidance for entering a lease agreement and tenant-landlord disputes.

    • Hanscom AFB on-base housing is privatized. The home amenities can include: central a/c, washer & dryer hook-ups, fully equipped kitchens, all utilities included.     Middlesex county is on the outskirts of the Boston area, in northeastern Massachusetts. Other nearby towns and cities include Concord, Carlisle, Billerica, Burlington, Lexington, and Lincoln.     About Hanscom AFB
    Hanscom Air Force Base is home to the 66th Air Base Group and is located near Bedford, Massachusetts. The group provides services to the National Guard, Air Force Reserve and DoD civilians assigned to Hanscom AFB. The Life Cycle Management Center is one of the five Air Force Material Command centers of the Material Command, and is responsible for weapon management over the life cycle of the system. Hanscom is currently host to no regular Air Force flying activities but is a joint use civil airport/military field which provides general aviation and charter service as well as a small number of military flights.
